Skirting boards not only provide functional protection for the connection between floor and wall or other surfaces such as stairs or doors, but above all they add character to interiors. They have both a protective and a decorative function, and are both practical and striking. They can also have an additional function, such as hiding electrical cables or providing lighting (D7 LED).
The choice of mouldings depends on individual preferences and the nature of the room in which they are installed. They should be compatible with other finishes to create a cohesive overall look.
